Jeff Novitzky is a retired U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Special Agent who is known for his work in investigating cases of illegal doping among professional athletes. He has been involved in high-profile cases, such as the BALCO scandal, which implicated numerous athletes, including Major League Baseball player Barry Bonds and Olympic track star Marion Jones. Novitzky has also worked as an investigator for the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and was responsible for exposing several fighters who had violated anti-doping regulations. He retired from the FDA in 2018.
